How to Apply to the Fund

Funding eligibility

  • Only States Parties to the International Convention against Doping in Sport can submit applications to the Fund.
  • All requests must be made by the National Commission for UNESCO or a designated government channel (e.g. Ministry in charge of sport).
  • The Fund cannot cover the entire costs of the project. All applicants must make some form of financial and/or non-financial contribution to the project.
  • Applications for national projects should not exceed US$ 20,000. Applications for sub-regional, inter-regional or regional project should not exceed US$ 50,000.
  • States Parties applying to the Fund must submit national reports as required under Article 31 of the Convention (through the Anti-Doping Logic system, prior to each session of the Conference of Parties).
  • States Parties can submit several applications simultaneously but they may only undertake one project at a time.
  • A maximum of three requests can be submitted by each State Party per biennium (e.g. 2014/15).

Regional Application Form
This application form is for sub-regional, inter-regional or regional projects. It must be accompanied by letters of support from at least three partner countries.

At least three letters of support should be provided from governments involved in sub-regional, inter-regional or regional projects.

Reporting forms

Evaluation Report
An evaluation report must be submitted at the end of every project cycle. The report should present the results of the activities financed and outcomes achieved.

Financial Statement
An itemized and certified financial statement must be submitted at the end of every project, alongside all original supporting documentation (invoices, receipts…).
