International Jazz Day celebrations in Turkey

Turkish National Commission for UNESCO organizes the event “Women Voice from Turkey”

Main focus of this year’s International Jazz Day celebrations in Turkey held by the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO are gender equality and cultural diversity. Bursa is the host city of this year’s celebrations and the event is being organized with the contributions of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality.

 

 

Entitled “Women Voice from Turkey”, the concept of this year’s programme has been prepared by composer, pianist and singer Selen Gülün. The programme would be held with the valuable contributions of female jazz artists including Selen Gülün, Ceyda Köybaşıoğlu, Monika Bulanda, Ece Göksu and Elif Çağlar Muslu.

 

 

Organized to celebrate International Jazz Day together, this concert will be open to public participation and is free of charge.
