UNESCO supports the World's Largest Lesson

A UNESCO-supported global campaign, Project Everyone, to inform and engage the public about the new development agenda and the newly adopted Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has been launched.
Since the World Education Forum 2015, UNESCO is supporting the World’s Largest Lesson
UNESCO has contributed two important lesson plans to the project on Climate Change and What to do with the global goals in your daily lives – which are posted on the Project’s Website , as well as relevant teaching materials and resources on SDGs.
In addition the project has its own radio station Radio Everyone which can be accessed on the dedicated Website
Project Everyone was initiated by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Richard Curtis, and in April UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova accepted the invitation to co-sign a letter which invites all ministers of education worldwide to participate in the campaign.
The letters were sent directly by Project Everyone to ask ministers to mobilise their school systems to participate in the World’s Largest Lesson (WLL) during the week of 28 September 2015, and to personally engage in such a lesson. Over 100 ministers of education have accepted the invitation to engage in the WLL.
