Orientações técnicas de educação em sexualidade para o cenário brasileiro: tópicos e objetivos de aprendizagem

© UNESCO

The publication dedicated to educators is a result of an adaptation to Brazil of topics and learning objectives of the "International technical guidance on sexuality education: an evidence-informed approach for schools, teachers and health educators; volumes I & II", published by UNESCO, Paris, in 2009, in partnership with UNFPA, UNICEF and WHO within UNAIDS. The intention is to provide orientations for locally adapted curricula development.

The development status of Brazil and practical experience in this matter can certainly introduce innovative aspects and serve as reference to future versions of this international technical orientation, and its topics and learning objectives for sexual education.

The interest of UNESCO Brasilia Office, in partnership with other specialized organizations in this area, is to nationally analyse the topic contentes in order to incorporate a rich Brazilian experience in the international analysis. On the other hand, considering the possibility of adapting the topics to the local scenario it is necessary the validation of these orientations by Brazilian specialists in the areas of gender and sexuality, in order to assure the relevance and adequacy of contents for each target audience in the national territory.
