IHP Lunch Talk: “Addressing water security under climate change”

UNESCO’s International Hydrological Programme (IHP) will organize a Lunch Talk attended by the representatives of UNESCO Member states to share experiences, views and recommendations addressing water security under the climate change.
Two discussants will be present to share their valuable experience and offer an insight into the effects of climate change: Ms Blanca Jiménez-Cisneros, Secretary and IHP Director of the Division of Water Sciences of UNESCO and Mr Jérôme Chappellaz, senior scientist (Directeur de Recherche) at CNRS. The aim of the meeting will be to raise awareness about the challenges that the climate change impacts present, in view of COP21, to enhance collaboration between science and policy makers.
The IHP Lunch Talk will take place on 4th November 2015 from 13:25 to 15:00 in Salle Segur, 7th floor of the UNESCO Headquarters, 7 Place de Fontenoy, Paris.
