Achieving the SDGs: Rethinking Education and Learning

The event will provide an overview the involvement of UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development in the Education 2030 agenda through an interactive session featuring an MGIEP online Wealth Generator Game. In the presence of Qian Tang, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education, Dr. A. Duraiappah, Director, MGIEP will share the key lessons learnt from recent surveys on youth which suggest a need for new and innovative ways of learning and acquiring the necessary knowledge and competencies to face the challenges of the 21st century.

The session will also serve to highlight the avenues for cooperation with MGIEP.

The event is organized by The Permanent Delegation of India to UNESCO and the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP)
