Renovation of UNESCO’s Executive Board Meeting Room and the Delegates’ Lounge

 

Donations received to date: (as at 29th July 2015)

The estimated overall-budget for the renovation project is 1 500 000 Euro ($ 1 600 986.93 USD)

The Chairperson of the Executive Board, His Excellency Mohamed Sameh Amr, Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of the Arab Republic of Egypt to UNESCO, wishes to express his personal appreciation to the Permanent Delegations and Governments of the following Member States for their generous in-cash and in-kind contributions to the renovation project.

While a substantial amount of funding has already been secured, thus permitting the renovation project to be underway, more funds to a total of approximately $400 000 USD are still required.  Members States are encouraged to favourably consider donating to this project.
