The Kingston Cluster Office for the Caribean covers UNESCO's five main programme areas:

Education for the 21st Century

The Education for the 21st Century programme promotes the fundamental right to education, access to quality education for all, and life-long learning.  The Office provides policy advice and support, capacity development, standard setting instruments and dissemination of good practices through existing sub-regional networks.

Protecting our Heritage and Fostering Creativity

The Protecting our Heritage and Fostering Creativity Programme is geared towards placing culture at the centre of development processes in Caribbean countries.

Science for Sustainable Future

The Science for Sustainable Future Programme's overarching objective is the mobilizing of scientific knowledge and policy for sustainable development.

Learning to Live Together

The Learning to Live Together Programme addresses emerging social and ethical challenges by mobilizing social and human scientific knowledge for sustainable development and fostering a culture of peace.

Fostering Freedom of Expression and Building Knowledge Societies

The Fostering Freedom of Expression and Building Knowledge Societies Programme aims to foster free flow of ideas, universal access to information and strengthen inclusive knowledge societies through information and communication in the Caribbean.
