International Conference IITE-2010
“ICTs in Teacher Education: Policy Development, OER and Partnership”

This year the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education in cooperation with the UNESCO Moscow Office will held its annual conference on 15th and 16th of November 2010 in St. Petersburg, the Russian Federation.

The major objective of the Conference is to discuss challenges and share best experience in the field of ICTs in education.

Main Conference topics:

  • Teacher Development Policies and Programmes including deployment of ICTs,
  • Innovative Media Technologies in Education,
  • ICT Competencies of Teachers & Emerging Technologies.

Open Educational Resources and Open Educational Practices.
Leading international experts in ICTs in education and teacher development and government officials in charge of teacher development from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Finland, France, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Republic of Moldova, Lithuania, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Uzbekistan will take part in the Conference.

The Conference programme includes a special session for UNESCO Chairs and UNITWIN Network.

This year Conference is supported by the UNESCO Moscow Office and organized in partnership with three St. Petersburg universities. The Conference will be held at Herzen State Pedagogical University, St.-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation and St.-Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics.
