New UNESCO University Twinning Network for Pharmacists Launched in the UK

On 31st August, the formal Agreement for the UNITWIN Network in Global Pharmacy Education Development (GPhED) was duly signed by FIP and the School of Pharmacy, University of London.

The new UNITWIN Network (G-PhEd) is the first in the field of higher education for health professionals and the first for global pharmaceutical education. It will partner more than 20 universities in 14 countries in order to establish a resource base and collaborative forum for exchange, research and capacity building in pharmacy education and will seek to establish global centres of excellence.
