Fields / Disciplines Sustainable Development Objectives To undertake research and training and initiate scientific co-operations among universities, in partnership with other actors in service of socially fragile communities, so as to contribute to sustainable development and to the construction of more responsible world. To facilitate the incorporation of internationally famous high level researchers in the research teams of the Southern countries and fragile territories, in order to strengthen their creative, scientific and methodological potential. To support international co-operation by working narrowly with the institutions, organizations and associations specialized in the vital sectors: health, nutrition, energy, environment, habitat, communication, highlighting their global and complex dimension by according a particular attention to developing countries institutions. To facilitate the contribution of universities, institutions, organizations and economic, social and cultural stakeholders that take part in the production of a global knowledge of quality that respects local expertise and knowledge, by developing thought capacities, advancement and dissemination of research, and training with a view to sustainable development and social equity.
