Infection with HIV/STD occurs in specific risk situations or scenarios. Young people in these situations need to have the knowledge and skills to respond adequately, for example, how to say “no” or how to propose alternatives.
This document is part of a package that includes handbook for curriculum planners, teachers' guide and students' activities.

Through the achievement of a set of learning objectives, the curriculum aims to increase knowledge and to develop skills, positive attitudes and motivation.

The package has been adapted and translated into several languages, namely: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Khmer and Arabic.
