Facts for Life

This publication provides the essential facts that all families need and have a right to know to protect children's lives and health.

The messages it contains are based on the latest scientific findings, as established by medical experts around the world and are presented in non-technical language so they can be understood and acted upon easily by people who do not have a scientific background. Topics covered include timing births, safe motherhood, diarrhoea, coughs and colds, hygiene, child development and early learning, breastfeeding, nutrition and growth, immunization, malaria, HIV/AIDS, injury prevention and disasters and emergencies.
