    Technical Education Corporation (TEC) is responsible for the promotion of Teccnical Education in Sudan. Nine Technical colleges were already established in the different states of the country. The degree offered in these colleges is the Diploma in Technical Education.The Diploma programs are offered in six semesters where the sixth semester is devoted to projects and On Job Training(OJT).The diploma programs offererd are concentrated on the Engineering specializations, such as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil & Agricultural. More than 3000 students now are enrolling and the first batch will be graduated after 3 months.
    TEC is under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
