Type of Institution:
The Higher Colleges of Technology system consists of 11 colleges and a Center of Excellence for Research and Training located in 6 key cities of the UAE. The colleges are post-secondary technical and vocational institutions offering full-time courses such as Higher National Diploma (4 year level), regular Diploma (3 year level) and Certificate (1 year level) courses to UAE citizens. The Higher Colleges also offer a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree to students who complete their Higher Diploma Degree.
The Higher Colleges of Technology are dedicated to the delivery of technical and professional programmes of the highest quality to the citizens of the UAE.
Graduates of the colleges will have: the linguistic ability to function effectively in an international environment; the technical skills to operate in an increasingly complex technological world; the intellectual capacity to adapt to constant change and the leadership potential to make the fullest possible contribution to the development of the community for the good of all its people.
