Asia and the Pacific


UNESCO’s Regional Bureau for Education in Asia and the Pacific, based in Bangkok and the 15 field offices serving the region focus on promoting education as a fundamental right, improving the quality of education and stimulating experimentation, innovation and policy dialogue.

UNESCO’s long-standing experience in the use of information and communication technologies for education in the region is informing projects on education for a sustainable future.

UNESCO provides technical advice on education sector reform and resource management to governments and partners.
