Kyrgyzstan


Kyrgyzstan joined UNESCO on June 2, 1992. The country is covered by the UNESCO Office Almaty, a Cluster Office which also covers Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Kyrgyzstan has one UNEVOC centre. As of September 2006, the country has 15 schools participating in UNESCO’s Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet).
