Estonia


Estonia joined UNESCO on October 14, 1991, and in conjunction with the Organization leads several projects in the educational field.

The country has a UNESCO Chair in Civics and Multi-cultural Studies, which was established at the Jaan Tonisson Institute in 1999. Its task is to strengthen the integration of society through the development of state schools.
