    Saint Lucia joined UNESCO on March 6, 1980. The country is covered by the UNESCO Cluster Office for the Caribbean in Kingston, Jamaica.

    Saint Lucia is home to one UNEVOC centre and, as of September 2006, has 20 schools participating in the UNESCO’s Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet).
