Structure of the CommissionThe National Commission consists of the following organs:
- The General Assembly, which meets twice a year;
- Three Committees: (1) Committee of Education and Science; (2) Committee of Culture and World Heritage; (3) Committee of Informatics and Information.
- The Secretariat.
Members/CompositionThe National Commission is composed of 12 members representing Ministries (of Foreign Affairs, Education and Science, of Culture and Monument Protection, of Sports and Youth Affairs, of Environment and Natural Resources Protection), Government Departments, National Organizations and experts.
Executive CommitteeThe Commission has no Executive Committee.
General AssemblyThe General Assembly meets twice a year.

Interaction with UNESCO and National Commissions
OverviewThe National Commission co-operates with the European National Commissions (Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Russian Federation and Ukraine). It also has collaborated with the UNESCO Field Offices of Venice (ROSTE), Bucharest (CEPES) and Almaty.
