Ukraine


Ukraine joined UNESCO on May 12, 1954. There are no fewer than 12 UNESCO Chairs in the country. They concern widely varying subject areas, including ecology, linguistics, molecular and cellular biotechnology and new information technology in Education for All.

Ukraine also has over 50 schools in the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network.
