This report focuses on the role of the Institute of Education of the University of London in the EFA movement. The Institute of Education is a graduate college of the Federal University of London.
 

The centenary of its contribution to education was celebrated in 2002. Founded in 1902 to deliver high quality training of teachers in England, the Institute continues to fulfil this aim through training over 1000 graduates for their postgraduate certificate in education annually. In addition it offers courses at asters and Doctoral level, undertakes research and offers an arena for education debate.
