Regional Activities
	The Forum initiative has taken a global perspective, comprising the regions of Africa, the Arab States, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Europe and North America. In each of these regions, Regional Research Seminars and other regional activities were organised between 2003-2007, addressing crucial regional issues linked to higher education & research. UNESCO field offices, centers and institutes were often involved in the preparation of these events. For 2008-2009 there are no activities planned in the regions.
