Sandwatch: Preserving the Beaches of the Caribbean

Sandwatch: Preserving the Beaches of the Caribbean
07-12-2006 - Teachers and students from thirteen countries around the Caribbean came together for a symposium on the Sandwatch project in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on 4-6 December 2006.

Sandwatch seeks to change lifestyles while developing awareness of the fragile nature of coastal environments.

It provides a framework to evaluate problems specific to these environments and develop sustainable approaches of protection and preservation.
