UNESCO Chair in Management, Planning, and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (822), established in 2008 at the Institute for Research and Planning in Higher Education (Islamic Republic of Iran)

 

Fields / Disciplines Higher education. Objectives The purpose of the Chair shall be to promote an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation in the field of higher education. It will serve as a means of facilitating collaboration between high-level, internationally recognized researchers and teaching staff of the University and other institutions in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Asia region. The main objective of the Chair shall be the study of the evaluation and development of policy-making, planning and management in higher education, conducting institutional research, institutionalizing higher education quality assurance and promoting the level of higher education within regional and international interactions.
