“Forum de Sostenibilidad - Cátedra UNESCO"-First number of journal has been published by UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development and Environmental Education of the University of the Basque Country

The journal “Forum de Sostenibilidad - Cátedra UNESCO”, published by UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development and Environmental Education of the University of the Basque Country, was launched the 5th June, World Environment Day.

 

Original articles, technical reports and detailed studies, related to the natural resources, sustainable management, environmental education in the area of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve and in the Basque Country are presented in this first publication.

At the moment, copies of the magazine can be asked for free to the UNESCO-UPV/EHU Chair (postage and packing costs not included) or electronic version can be consulted through its web page

Under the common topic of Sustainable Development, this journal publishes two types of articles. Analysis section compiles theoretical or opinion articles, on a topic proposed for each volume. Each volume will announce the subject for the next one.

Articles section compiles works that describe and analyse results of concrete research studies.

Submission of articles for publication within the second number is already possible. Central topic for analysis articles from different disciplines, will be "water", regarding that we are now celebrating Water Decade (2005-2015).
