Fields / Disciplines Human Rights and Democracy Objectives To promote an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation in the field of human rights and democracy. To facilitate collaboration between high-level, internationally recognized researchers and teaching staff of the Institute and other institutions in the Republic of Armenia. The activities in the field of human rights will be based on the international standards enshrined in the Universal Declaration on Human Rights, in the International Covenants on Human Rights and in other relevant standard-setting instruments, on the principles of universality, indivisibility and interdependence of all human rights, as well as on the principles of equality between men and women.
