Gender and Media Initiatives and Voluntary Commitments

Yes, we must!

Reach gender equality in the media by 2030.

UNESCO, Global Alliance on Media and Gender (GAMAG) invite all stakeholders (UN organizations, governments, private sector, international/bilateral donors/foundations, intergovernmental organizations, media, and civil society) to register gender and media initiatives and voluntary commitments in connection with the International Cooperation Framework on Gender and Media. Registered commitments and initiatives will publicly allow for synergies to be development among stakeholders as well as gives more openness about the progress towards gender equality in the media.

Registered commitments and initiatives will also boost the contribution to the Beijing goals as made by the Global Alliance on Media and Gender and the implementation of its Framework and Plan of Action.
