Jacqueline ("Jackie") Louise Cruz Silva is a retired volleyball player from Brazil, who won the gold medal in the inaugural women's beach volleyball tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

After a successful career as a professional volleyball player in Brazil, Italy and the USA, Jackie Silva created a charitable institute named after herself (Instituto Jackie Silva), which aims at promoting sport and social interaction among young people of Rio de Janeiro.

Today, the Jackie Silva Institute is active through its volleyball units in 49 different units throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro, reaching approximately 6000 children aged 8 to 16. In addition to sports training, the institute also offers workshops, counselling and lectures on HIV/AIDS prevention, youth pregnancy and drug abuse to youngsters socially at risk.
