Baku Science Festival

Baku Science Festival dedicated to UNESCO World Science Day for Peace and Development is to be held for the first time in Azerbaijan on November 10-11, 2014. The aim of the event, organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, is to increase the interest of youth to the different fields of science, as well as rapprochement of the science and society.

World-renowned achievements of the local scientists will be demonstrated in the framework of the Festival. 

The speeches on different scientific topics by young scientists, introduction to creative workshop and interactive exhibitions, organization of the excursions to the laboratories, presentation of films covering the activities of the scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan are included to the Festival program. 

New scientific technologies and innovative achievements will be presented at the event. Different institutions of the Academy of Sciences, universities and high schools as well as ordinary schools will demonstrate the achieved results.

The Festival will be held with the organizational support of the National National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Municipality of the city of Baku, Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Communication and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
