Socio-artistic project ‘ms4’ is designed as a cycle of site-specific events in the Lodz district of Stare Polesie across barriers between Lodz inhabitants and art world represented by invited artist. ms4 will discover a new space for cultural dialogue for socially and economically disabled inhabitants within their own streets as well as help them in regaining right to express their own values and outlooks. 'ms4' will follow the idea of ‘ms3 Re:action’ (2nd of April – 24th of May 2009) in which the Muzeum Sztuki provided the visitor with all means of artistic and curatorial expression, asking what kind of museum of what kind of art they look forward to, simultaneously with a series of open workshops conducted by artists, with the exhibition of archival photos in shops and service centres, with the documentation of artistic activity of city inhabitants and with publishing eight issues of newspaper co-edited by 'ms3' participants.
