International Conference "Interculturality: theory and practice. New perspectives of the globalizing world"

Résumé

The idea of the project is to present phenomenon of Interculturality to the broad society of the region. New perspectives of the globalizing world is to bring to-gather representatives of the diversity of nowadays academic schools in human studies to discuss the problem of the gap in between the theory and practice of interculturality in the contemporary world. The problem, which will be offered as a main issue for discussion, is a theory of interculturality, as it was realized by the academic studies of the second part of the 20th century. Based on the common sources of Ibn Sina/Avicennian tradition (b. 980, Bukhara) in CA and Europe, these studies, widely legalized by UNESCO at 50th and 80th by seminars, conferences and publications of those times, however, had rather historico-factological, then intercultural perceptions. To enhance that perception, means, defining the core of the heritage of the great scholar, politician, physician poet and musician as interconnection of the secular and religious cultures, initiate a new stage of discussions and debates worldly, openinig the new perspectives for cooperation and development in a new reality of 21st c.
Except scope of diverse activities (creating of network of experts, lecturing and etc.) the team would work on organising conference in Dushanbe and will discuss strategy for the next steps.
