The destructive forces in our world, including fundamentalism and separatism, expressed in the form of civil wars and “ethnic cleansing” in many areas of the world today force us to look to collective experience with such calamities in world history. These conflicts, whether based in ethnic clashes or nationalist fervor, have become pervasive and permanent themes in the mass media. When civil order is disrupted, the best solution can be found in the intercultural dialogue between countries.
In the spirit of this model, Fermata Arts Foundation proposes the establishment of true intercultural dialogues. At the present time, the spirit of Herbert Spencer, for whom the competition of the “free market” is inherent in human nature for the produced reality, the morale, which is the product of human imagination, provides a way to boost and create a product, but a much better one, and one much more humane. Human imagination has a constructive role in the formation of social reality, whatever it may consist of at any given time.
