Guidelines for Implementing, Monitoring and Evaluating Gender Responsive EFA Plans
(UNESCO, 2003) - This booklet is a revision of and a follow-up to the Guidelines for Preparing Gender-responsive EFA Plans published in March 2002 to assist planning teams to prepare gender-responsive EFA plans.

Guidelines EFA 2003.gif As a result of its wide distribution combined with advocacy from EFA partners, many EFA plans now pay closer attention to the gender parity and equality goals of the Dakar Framework for Action and the Millennium Development Goals. However, as we all know, policies and plans that are not implemented and monitored do not change anything on the ground.

These guidelines are meant to provide you with advice on how to ensure a gender-responsive implementation and monitoring process of the EFA plan.
