UNESCO advises you to make sure that your profile matches the requirements of the job in question, as set out in the vacancy notice, before submitting your application for a General Service post.

To submit your application for a post open to recruitment, UNESCO invites you to follow the instructions listed below:

I. Check first of all that the location of the vacant post corresponds to your place of residence
For example, if you submit your application for a post at Headquarters, you must reside in France.

II. Complete carefully the UNESCO CV form, in English or in French
You can obtain it from one of the following addresses:
– UNESCO Headquarters
– UNESCO National Commissions
– UNESCO field offices
– any United Nations office

III. Include the reference number of the post for which you are applying on the application form and on the envelope

IV. Send your application to the address mentioned in the vacancy notice before the closing date
