The Bureau of Strategic Planning

 
The Bureau of Strategic Planning ensures that the strategic objectives and priorities set by the General Conference and the Executive Board -- including women, youth, least developed countries, Africa as well as specific strategies -- are duly taken into account at all stages of programme elaboration and implementation.

BSP is responsible for UNESCO's participation in and contribution to inter-agency programme efforts within the United Nations system to ensure coherence of orientations and efforts, especially in the follow-up to the United Nations Millennium Declaration and the pursuit of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
