UNESCO RSS feeds

An RSS (Really Simple Syndication) news feed is a regularly updated file that contains a summary of new content from a website or blog.

You can "subscribe" to a website using an RSS reader or functionalities that are contained in your browser software.

What UNESCO RSS feeds are available?

  • UNESCO News Service
Here you will receive the latest UNESCO press releases, media advisories, interviews, and news items.

  • UNESCO Education
This feed provides the latest news on Education related themes.

  • World Heritage Center
Several feeds are available to keep abreast of latest news, events, photos and updates of the World Heritage List.

  • Communication and Information
A variety of feeds are available from the Communication and Information portal sections.

How do I use UNESCO's news feeds?
UNESCO uses RSS 2.0 format. RSS is an XML-based (eXtensible Markup Language) format for content distribution that includes headlines, summaries and links. To access our News feeds, look for the RSS link on our pages.

    Important
In most case you must use a feed reader in order to subscribe to website feeds. If you do not have one and you click on an RSS or Atom feed link, your browser may display a page of unformatted content.

If you are using Mozilla/Firefox browser or Internet Explorer version 7, you will probably have an icon for RSS feeds to the right of the URL box. When you click on this icon a navigation bar featuring your selection of feeds will be added to your browser.
