What is UNESCO’s gender mainstreaming policy?

 
UNESCO's Gender Mainstreaming policy is defined in the Organization's Medium Term Strategy for 2002-2007 (otherwise referred to as the 31 C/4), paragraph 32. The full text of the Medium Term Strategy can be downloaded by clicking on the below link.

"UNESCO's Gender Mainstreaming Implementation Framework (GMIF) for 2002-2007" provides guidelines on how to implement the policy commitment expressed in the Organization's Medium Term Plan.
