03-10-2005 - At the occasion of the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between UNESCO and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), a regional economic community based in Lusaka (Zambia), the Director-General of UNESCO, Mr Koïchiro Matsuura, received the Secretary-General of COMESA, Mr Erastus Mwencha on 30 September 2005 at the UNESCO Headquarters.
