Users can consult databases of UNESCO Archives, Library and Official Documents and Publications (UNESDOC) complemented with useful tools such as documentation resources, a UNESCO Thesaurus, directories and bibliographies.

Internationally comparable statistics on core themes such as Education, Literacy, Culture, Communication, Science and Technology produced by the UNESCO Institute for Statistics are available online. Legal Instruments
International Conventions, Recommendations and Declarations from the General Conference can be found by type and by theme. The official text is online in HTML versions in English and French, and in PDF format for all six official languages of UNESCO (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian and Chinese).
