Consultation of NGOs on the Draft Medium-Term Strategy and the Draft Programme and Budget - Information meeting on 11 June 2012

The Director-General has initiated a consultation of Non-Governmental Organizations on the preparation of the Draft Medium-Term Strategy for 2014-2021 (document 37 C/4) and the Draft Programme and Budget for 2014-2017 (document 37 C/5).

An information meeting, co-chaired by the Assistant Director-General for External Relations and Public Information and the Assistant Director-General for Strategic Planning, took place on Monday 11 June 2012 at UNESCO Headquarters. The aim of this meeting was to better coordinate the participation of NGOs in this important process for the Organization.

Almost a hundred representatives of NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO participated in this meeting. The meeting was broadcasted live over the Internet. The records of it are available at the following page: mms://stream.unesco.org/vod/NGO_110612_en.wmv.
