HIV & AIDS and Quality Education for All Youth

The document includes the presentations made during the seminar held on the eve of the 47th International Conference on Education (ICE) which brought together some 10 Ministers of education and over 70 high ranking ministerial delegates, coming from around the world to participate in the 47th ICE.

HIV & AIDS and Quality Education for All Youth

The three main objectives of the seminar were:

  • To discuss the essential issues regarding roles and responsibilities of the education sector in the fight against HIV & AIDS;
  • To identify priority measures required to ensure that quality HIV and AIDS education is effectively taugth is schools; and
  • To transmit key messages to the ICE delegates, to help them address HIV & AIDS issues during the discussions and debates of the ICE.
