Empowering youth through national policies: UNESCO’s contribution’

This publication was developed to support national authorities in formulating and developing a national youth policy to adequately respond to young people's needs and concerns and to promote substantial youth participation and integration in social development.

The publication is aimed at national decision-makers and diverse actors of civil society as a conceptual, methodological and practical tool in formulating, implementing and evaluating a viable national youth policy in active partnership with young people.

The publication features examples drawn from all regions of the world and particularly highlights UNESCO's approach and best practices.
