UNAIDS IATT on Education

The UNAIDS IATT on Education aims to accelerate and improve the education sector response to HIV and AIDS by:

• Promoting and supporting good practices in the education sector related to HIV and AIDS; and
• Encouraging alignment and harmonisation within and across agencies to support global and country level actions.

Specific activities undertaken by the IATT include:

• Strengthening the evidence base and disseminating findings to inform decision-making and strategy development;
• Encouraging information and materials exchange;
• Working jointly to bridge education and AIDS communities; and
• Ensuring stronger education sector responses to HIV and AIDS.
