Lugano V: National Commissions for UNESCO - Crossover Topics: Challenges and Opportunities

More than fifteen National Commissions from Europe and North America were invited to this Lugano V by the Swiss Commission for UNESCO.

The objective of Lugano V was to discuss on crossover topics, with a focus on world heritage sites and intagible cutural heritage.

That was the fifth time that the Swiss Commission hosted in Lugano this informal meeting of European national Commissions. Mr Eric Falt, Assistant Director-General for External Relations and Public Information of UNESCO attended the meeting and took part in the debates. The previous meeting were held in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2010.
