World Conference for the UNESCO Clubs Movement (18-20 July 2005, Paris)

Upon recommendation of the Ad hoc Committee for the renewal of the World Federation for UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations (WFUCA), UNESCO organized a World Conference for the UNESCO Clubs Movement, at its Headquarters (Paris) from 18 to 20 July 2005, a part of which was dedicated to an extraordinary session of the World Congress of WFUCA.

UNESCO has been supporting the work of the Ad hoc Committee for the Renewal of WFUCA created in December 2003. The Committee had two meetings in 2004 in addition to two meetings of its subcommittee. As results, the Committee prepared a revised draft Constitution and Rules and Regulations of WFUCA.

On this occasion, UNESCO has conducted an inventory of the National Federations of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations, which are actually active in all Member States.
