The 2006-2007 project “HIV/AIDS Vulnerability and Risk Reduction among Ethnic Minority Groups through Communication Strategies in the Greater Mekong Subregion” is devising linguistically and culturally relevant communication strategies to inform vulnerable and high-risk populations living in border areas of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) about HIV prevention.
The project is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and is implemented by UNESCO Bangkok in Cambodia, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Thailand and Yunnan, Province of China.
