Assessment of curriculum response in 35 countries for the EFA monitoring report:

This study addresses a set of dimensions that are considered to be keys to the effective implementation of HIV and AIDS education in schools, at the level of policies and strategic plans and in official curricula and programs.

Goals and objectives, curriculum approach, time allocation, scope and topics addressed are systematically reviewed, based on the analysis of official documents such as policy documents, curriculum and teaching/leaning material.

The analysis leads to an evaluation of existing gaps for the effective implementation of quality HIV and AIDS education in schools.
