Working Where The Risks Are - Drug Abuse Prevention Programme in Asia for Marginalized Youth

This brochure is aimed at sharing experience, creating awareness and providing information about the key issues, approaches and themes that need to be addressed while working on drug use and HIV- and AIDS-related education within out-of school environments.

Working Where The Risks Are - Drug Abuse Prevention Programme in Asia for Marginalized Youth

In recognition of the complexity of the developmentale determinants and consequences of drug use, the UNESCO Drug Abuse Prevention Programme for Marginalized Youth in Asia (DAPPA) was conceptualized in such a way as to take into account both macro (contextual) and micro (individual and local) factors relating to drug use. The Programme was the result of innovative collaboration between UNESCO, the European Commission and in partnership with a number of NGOs.
