UNESCO's past activities in Land Resources: Technical Guides and Other Publications

For several decades, diverse information materials relating to land resources in small islands have been published by UNESCO and organizations and institutions collaborating in its programmes. Herewith, some examples of ‘pre-January 2005’ materials:


Coastal Land Tenure: A Small-Islands’ Perspective (2002)
Drawing on case studies from Barbados, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Seychelles and Thailand, wise practice agreements are proposed as a way of reducing conflicts in access and use rights.
